The tag alias #62104 off/on -> clothed/nude_model is pending approval.

Clothed/nude already exists, so I added the suffix 'model' to make the distinction.

I would want it to be multiple_* something so it fits right in line with multiple_versions but there's no good word for it.

Best I could come up with clothing_alt, but that's not better.

Shame clothed/nude is already taken, that would've been perfect.

I missed topic #36210 and topic #38321. I think it should have been accepted, it's correct by definition. The pushback was that off/on is poorly named, which is true. And that's what this topic is about.

The problem with using nude is that it has a specific definition on e6 that is narrower than what is covered by off/on. A character shown both fully clothed and bottomless like post #926654 would be tagged off/on but not nude. off/on also covers cases that don't involve being clothed at all like post #2263738. And finally a slash is generally used on e6 to indicate interaction between characters like male/male, so it's not ideal in this tag.

But I don't have a good solution. Variably_nude_versions or variable_nudity? States_of_nudity or degrees_of_undress? I like the versions suffix since it emphasizes one of the key parts of the off/on definition. Should we abandon perfection and settle for nude_and_clothed_versions?

Another consideration is a mass update instead of an alias. However that would require going forward a disambiguation of off/on between nude/clothed and nude_and_clothed_versions or whatever this tag ends up as.
