The tag alias #61172 swallowing_object -> object_ingestion is pending approval.

Reason:

• Object ingestion covers a broader range of how an object can be shown as eaten (an object in a character's stomach, a character chewing up an object etc.)
• There are only 18 posts under swallowing_object and 158 under object_ingestion
• object_ingestion swallowing makes the swallowing_object tag entirely redundant

God I hate the object_vore tag so much. I read that entire rant on the object_ingestion wiki about why they shouldn't be aliased together and still remain unconvinced that there are any objective criteria separating them at all.

Object ingestion only covers oral consumption, and the object has to be something that doesn't contain a character or creature, that's really the only distinction.

Object Vore is a problematic tag, the name is ambiguous (is it a character "voring" an object, or an object doing "the vore"?), and it applies to a lot of things that aren't really "vore" per se. A character swallowing a key, or stuffing themselves with marbles, or eating papers out of a book aren't really "vore" if you ask me.
