Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: dead_body -> corpse

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

A corpse is specifically a dead body of a human, where a dead body of an animal would be a carcass. The corpse tag itself doesn't actually seem to follow this meaning, so this could be fine?

I think calling the dead body of an animal a "corpse" is fine, and any difference is largely irrelevant for this site. Besides, given we're mostly dealing with anthros who are part human, any line between corpse and carcass would be very blurry. I must say, though, I never heard that corpse only applies to human bodies, before.

I think in most cases, an uploader or tagger adding dead_body or corpse is tagging a dead anthro, humanoid or human.

Carcass is already used entirely for dead ferals, particularly if the dead animal was hunted or killed by a predator, and especially if the body is partially eaten, and/or is an unidentifiable mess of gore and bones.
