in this case, it would be widget_(disambiguation)
and in the case that the name turns out to be distinct enough, it would be an direct alias to the proper tag

An implication isn't correct in either case. But if a tag is too ambiguous and can refer to different things, it shouldn't be aliased to specific one, as it would cause that one to be mistagged when the tagger meant one of its other meanings.
