Would be good for future-proofing, but honestly doesn't seem necessary since it doesn't currently have any posts under it (including the one you mentioned, which I assume you fixed already). I upvoted it regardless though!

What? There is zero posts on the new tag. Don't suggest an alias request if the tag has never been in use, it will just spam the suggestion queue.
If you have mistagged something and "created a new tag", just remove the tag from the post and it will be gone.

Looking at the tag's history, it looks like it does happen now and then, so I went ahead and approved it. But in general, if something rarely is used and isn't causing any bigger problems, then it might be better to just fix the rare instance by hand.
