Yes and looking at the happy_trail wiki, they are different, happy trail said it could only be used the hair reaches up to, or comes close to, the navel.

You seem to have missed "If a character has chest hair, the "happy trail" may connect it to the pubes."
So, essentially connected_body_hair = chest_hair + happy_trail + pubes.

I think chest_hair + happy_trail + pubes does not specify the connection, it just indicates the possibility. Unable to blacklist only connected posts with existing tags.
