Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: backrooms_creature -> the_backrooms

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

What is a backrooms creature? Just any random creature-like thing someone puts in the backrooms setting? There is no wiki to describe it.

In either case, the same point as the other thread applies; "Backrooms" is too generic of a term for my liking, so it should imply something a bit clearer.

Reason: Backrooms creatures are from the Backrooms... some people may forget to add the_backrooms tag when adding backrooms_creature tag.

That's kind of like making the tag Polar_bear --> Antarctica. Although "backrooms_creature is admittedly vague, you're changing a tag referring to a set of entities to a tag referring to a place. I think it would be better to leave the tag alone or rename it to something more concise.

More like implicating scp-049 -> scp_foundation. As I understand it, The Backrooms is a kind of setting concept, or perhaps a shared universe kind of deal, not any specific place. It's a copyright tag, not a general/location tag. If there are creatures that are part of the Backrooms setting, it makes sense to implicate it, just like how creatures from the SCP setting implicate SCP Foundation.

My main problem is that there doesn't seem to be any definition for what a Backrooms Creature is; if it's just any random creature that someone depicts in The Backrooms, it's not worth a tag since anyone could then call anything a Backrooms Creature. And of course that "Backrooms" is too generic for my liking, so I think the_backrooms should be aliased to something a bit clearer.

Yeah it's a pretty undefined territory since it's a fandom creation (or a place some people believe are actually real AKA crazy people) so it deserves a more defined tag, but I think we both agree that the tags proposed to be merged simply shouldn't be
