From a brief review of the thumbnails for holding_bow, I found one post with someone holding the "ribbon in a knot" type of bow. All the rest show show someone holding the weapon that shoots arrows.

This would also parallel how bow itself currently works; it's disambiguated, and the most popular versions of it seem to be bow_(feature) and bow_(weapon).
