Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: fanged_wyvern -> scalie

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #47183 fanged_wyvern -> scalie has been rejected.

Reason: They all appear to fit that requirement, or perhaps for future robustness, the implication should be added to the individual sub-species? For instance some zinogre are tagged wingless_dragon, while others are tagged with neither dragon nor scalie.

EDIT: The tag implication fanged_wyvern -> scalie (forum #346981) has been rejected by @gattonero2001.

Fanged Wyvern is a made up classification by the Monster Hunter series. There's nothing restricting it to be scalie, they can always make something in the future that's fully feathered or furred.

Though there's also a strong argument to aliasing them away. It's not much different from the way Pokemon uses "Bug Pokemon" or "Electric Pokemon" to classify various pokemon. They can look like anything, and it's not as if fanged_wyverns are only the only ones with fangs (they aren't even wyverns, either).

Think I suggested something like that back then, didn't put it into an actual BUR though.
