Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: apizzatrash -> mrmeatlovers

The tag alias #58700 apizzatrash -> mrmeatlovers has been approved.

Reason: I have changed my online persona to a name that doesn't have "trash" in it (I'll be doing the same for this e621 account soon).

As said here: https://twitter.com/MrMeatlovers/status/1517030123308199936
Evidence that this account used to be APizzatrash: the watermark in this drawing: https://twitter.com/MrMeatlovers/status/1509855712578785281

I assume this is the correct way to handle this. If I'm mistaken, please let me know. I couldn't find any wiki pages that covered name changing.

You provided a reason with some good sourcing. I think you're good. :)

Zero. Mods have the ultimate say and they get to it when they get to it.

Ah right, yes that makes sense. I just saw some thumbs up and assumed it was a majority vote thing

In a sense, it is a majority vote thing, but the votes are there to help the approving admin gauge overall opinion on the matter rather than a popular vote into office sort of thing. The admin can go with that opinion or reject it as necessary, as they're not beholden to it, but it does help them with their decision-making process. The voting is basically there so that members who don't have enough of an opinion to post in the thread can still weigh in.
