I feel like anybody searching for disembodied hands wants the full hand, not lone fingers. While some posts with the tag include a hand, most are lone fingers.

This kinda makes sense to me, fingers are in fact part of the hand. I can't imagine many people caring whether it's a finger or a hand, but if people don't want to see fingers alone they could always search disembodied_hand -disembodied_finger.

isn't a disembodied hand, and I doubt anyone searching for disembodied hand would want to see that. A finger may be part of the hand, but a hand is part of the arm, and an arm is part of the body. If the hand itself isn't visible, it can't be disembodied.
