Isn't it useful to have there be a script [or configuration] that could be toggled by the mobile user: a script which would automatically populate the search field with the 'Artist' tag (instead of hyperlinking to the actual search results page)?
Without needing, [the need] to type anything first, one might find this simpler, to add their tags to the search bar before seeing the artists' pages. It would prevent loading the entire index all-over again when the one user decides to sort the results based [on] *(maybe not)... what they like.
If we already know the 'number of posts' for one artist, sometimes we'll specify tags to get to the relevant results. Maybe we're gonna want to trim that down while we hunt (as mobile users) to save on data throughput.
There's a trade-off here in that:
a) this may lead to more "spontaneity" in searching, which could.
end up breaking functionality [users searching and] with the website being organized
suchlike [as per preferences] (we peruse quite a bit, don't we all?);
b) but, the option could be hidden so that new users wouldn't have
to mess around with it.
