Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: torture -> violence

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #45552 torture -> violence has been rejected.

Reason: torture is a specific type of violence.

Violence is a very broad tag, implicating tags to it that relate to violent themes can hopefully help this tag become a more useful blacklist item by having it get added to posts that already tag violent content in other ways.

EDIT: The tag implication torture -> violence (forum #341496) has been rejected by @Ultra_AC20.

Torture is a broad range of controlling or punishing acts that inflict severe mental or physical suffering. Not every act involves physical violence.

Fair point, big oversight on my part. In that case, is it possible for me to simply delete or withdraw this post?

No, you can only do that with BURs. It's best to just let an admin get around to rejecting it. Please don't hide the thread as that rejects nothing and prevents having this thread out where it can be seen and discussed for the record.

I think you can reject the suggestion because you made it. (It will not delete the discussion of it.)

For that click on "implication #45552" in the first line of the first comment, then click on "reject" if you see it.

Thank you very much!
