Is this even a good tag? As a copyright, I like microsoft_paint better (give it the full name), but you can't really tell than most of these images are made in that specific program, and not just any other program while emulating it (or perhaps even having the same limitations).
Might be better to update this to some meta tag, referring to it being single layered or aliased colors, and save the paint tags for images actually showing the program:

I agree with Furrin Gok - the tag should only be for posts that display the UI, logo, or etc. (and the alias should be reversed to ms_paint -> microsoft_paint for proper brand naming)
Images that are "made in MS Paint" is honestly a TWYS violation because you can't tell what it was made in from the image itself. Images in the "MS Paint style" should probably get a different metatag, aliasing is a close fit for some.
