Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: brewmaster_(dota) -> mangix_the_brewmaster

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #57667 brewmaster_(dota) -> mangix_the_brewmaster has been approved.

Reason: For convenience w/ tagging and searching. As far as I can tell, most content surrounding the character calls them just "Brewmaster", not "Mangix the Brewmaster".

Don't wanna alias "brewmaster" directly since that's also a generic word.

EDIT: The tag alias brewmaster_(dota) -> mangix_the_brewmaster (forum #336187) has been approved by @bitWolfy.

I'm unsure about this since, although there's unlikely to be a whole lot of content otherwise,
"Brewmaster" comes from the Warcraft III Hero (tagged here as chen_stormstout) which was used in DotA 1
while the DotA 2 design is distinct due to the need to distance themselves from Blizzard's assets.

Just a matter of technically incorrect as if you assume _(dota) to mean the Warcraft III map (as DotA is not a franchise that has always owned its associated asset designs,) it could be assumed to refer to the Warcraft III iteration.

If you want to be even more technical, the former character is called the "Pandaren Brewmaster" rather than the latter's simple "Brewmaster". Even from that angle it's really unlikely that there'll be any confusion.
