Topic: Why Flammie tag is labeled as Species?

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

I was doing some research and found out Flammie, a dragon from mana series is labeled as a species insted of character. On his wiki page it says that "Flammie" is his name, and his species, it's just a "white dragon" the last of his kind.

A fair few artists have drawn Flammies that aren't the same character as in the game, just the same species. The majority is however still the character from the game.
So perhaps a tag Flammie_(character) could be in order to distinguish them from the species as a whole.

Didn't the games themselves refer to his species as "Flammie, a type of white dragon"?
Even if I remember wrong, it would be too easily confused with white dragons from other series. As Nystemy suggested, we should use flammie_(character) for the specific one.

It seems to be partly another instance of Final Fantasy naming (how each Final Fantasy game has completely different characters using the same name as characters from previous games, e.g. Cid).

Several characters have appeared with the name "Flammie" throughout the series: a male version is in Secret of Mana, a female is in Trials of Mana, and a third Flammie, also female, appears in Children of Mana.
...
The history of the Flammies is detailed throughout the various games in the Mana series, particularly Legend of Mana, and are described as "beautiful yet powerful beasts" created by the Moon Gods, a race of omnipotent beings responsible for most of the life in the world. While the Flammies featured within the games of the series are depicted as off-white or yellow, the ancient world was populated by Flammies of six different colors, a new one being born when each Moon God went to sleep.

So they're not even necessarily all white dragons, either.
