Reason: Commonly confused words, especially in this expression.

There's also bearing_fangs and I almost made a BUR to alias it too, but I have learned in the past few minutes of forum searching that fangs and teeth and sharp teeth and pointy teeth have been contentious over the years. I'm too tired to think or care about that right now, so if anyone wants to suggest aliasing bearing_fangs to either baring_fangs (which doesn't currently exist) or baring_teeth, either be my guest or tell me to be my own guest.

+1. It's one of those common misspellings, since bear and bare are both verbs, but in this case bare/baring is the one being used.

Plus I'd argue that most creatures "bear" teeth, from childhood when they grow into their mouths.
