Topic: [REJECTED] Tag alias: touching_balls -> balls_touching

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Oh I see... so there is a lot of small implications to the tags from what I can see from votes and replies as well.
Is there a way to delete those topics of mine?

For tags requests that aren't a BUR, you'll just have to kindly ask bitWolfy to reject it. For BURs, you can reject it yourself.

But please don't hide the thread. It doesn't reject the request, but makes further discussion impossible and only irritates other users.

You mean through DM or here on the topics, maybe editing the request to not approve them?

I was about to do that since don't have a option to delete, but since I'm here learning about tags and implications, would not hurt to kindly ask how things works.

Asking questions is 100% the right thing to do. Hiding a thread "because I was wrong" is 0% the right thing to do. If it doesn't say reject, don't assume that it does--you didn't, you asked, so thank you for that.

You could DM him, but if you just edit the request, I think that would be sufficient.

Understandable. We can't learn if we don't ask. As I said above, hiding or deleting the thread won't reject your alias request since that's a separate thing from the thread itself. From what I've seen with other threads, hiding these request threads just aggravates other users, especially since it could be construed as suspicious, as if you're trying to prevent discussion on your requests. I don't think that's what you intend here, obviously, but others might and I doubt you want to be mistaken for one of them.
