The tag alias #56175 quad_eard -> 4_ears has been rejected.

Reason: The tag was first used here https://e621.net/posts/3059389, and I re-used it on some posts like this one: https://e621.net/posts/3090827, though I found the spelling suspect (should be quad_eared). I've since found that there's the existing tag 4_ears, so these two should possibly be aliased?

Or you could just manually change the five cases of that tag that there are. As there is no wiki page for the tag, and it's not caught wider support, it'd not appear worth aliasing.

Sure, I can fix those manually (done). But isn't the idea of an alias also to avoid future confusion and make it easier to find the correct tag? Personally, I'm much more likely to search for words ("quad") rather than numbers.

It would be "quad_eared", not "eard" in either case.

Either way, this tag has been used by a grand total of 2 people. If this continues, an alias may be necessary, but for the time being, it's fine.
