Better alias it the other way around. The first tag uses the character’s full name, omits the unnecessary suffix, has a wiki page, and is more widely used.

Actually, no. There's been multiple versions of Pete throughout the years other than the one in Goof Troop, most especially the original Pete, ol' Peg-Leg himself. Related: topic #27227 and topic #29991 The latter thread suggests using pete_(disney) as a catch-all for the various Petes to imply (as they tend to be difficult to tell apart).
