The presence of digestion noises does not mean that actual digestion is depicted. So "no" to the implication.
But digestion noises might not be originating from the stomach – ex. in post #2932163, they are coming from the balls.

So, not entirely sure what to do with this one yet. Need more research.

We could use the accurate term borborygmi, but that would probably confuse a lot of people
