Topic: Mass tagging

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

I don't know if you can just ask for stuff like this but can I get the ability to mass tag images? I noticed a lot of certain images are missing certain tags
such as: human-penetrated anthro_on_female monster_on_female anthro_penetrating, etc
it would make things much quicker and easier for me

No offense, but giving a tool like that to someone with a brand new account and 16 tag changes total sounds like a terrible idea.

I'd only plan to do it for certain images since I come across them so frequently, I had an old acc with pages of tag changes but, it's been deleted a long time now.

You would still have to use your account a bit more before anyone would entrust you with that… a privilege like that could be very easily abused, so, understandably, it’s only given to people that have been around a while.

If you only do it to certain images and it's a frequent thing you notice, the site does suggest recently used tags, and it includes tags that were added by implications too for tag edits you've made.

Even if you mean well mistakes you didn't think of can happen easily too.

I don't have anywhere close to the amount of changes as the most active people on the site, but for example I found out one of my recent uploads was a version of picture posted as one of the first couple hundred on the site.

I figured I'd reconcile my upload tags and the other uploader's tags by copying the list of tags and pruning the ones that were not shared between the two images. Doing that between just two images resulted in weeding out all kinds of implications and tags I didn't notice I copied over. I always knew copying tags from one image to another is dangerous, but that was a big eye opener. Just a single piece of clothing differing between the two resulted in half a dozen or more undesired tags added to the alternate image.

Sometimes changes to tags can be invalid for reasons you would never expect until you see them in an image. That does mean a lot of tags get missed, but implicating them all would cause all sorts of problems sometimes.

If you are 100% certain a certain tag would always be missing in a certain context, you can request an implication if it hasn't been suggested already.
