I don't think you can change an implication to an alias later on, even if you rename the topic. You will have to make another one.

Yeah, even if you attempted to change the actual text in post, it still links to an implication. If you attempt to change the link itself, it ends up directing to something that doesn't exist, as it was made as an implication, not an alias. I'd recommend retitling this back to imply and making a separate implication thread.
