Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: dogelore -> doge

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

There are other dogelore characters besides just doge, and a picture might just be of cheems, walter, etc

I'm not 100% sure.
Doge as a meme predates dogelore by half a decade.

As the name indicates, though, doge is the origin of dogelore. I guess it depends on how we want to define dogelore. Can we say that pre-dogelore doge images can be considered part of dogelore anyway? Would it be best to consider it like an umbrella tag for all the meme-related characters? Personally, whenever I see any Shiba Inu in a meme, regardless of which one it is, I just think “doge.”

To me, dogelore sounds like dogelore. Implying dogelore entities to dogelore itself makes sense, even if they existed before dogelore was cemented as a concept.
