Reason: Or the other way around - as long as the posts are under the same tag.

That lists it as a valid alternative spelling. It is likely French that influenced excluding the A so I'd say add the A.

This, and it seems a bit nitpicky to try to flip it, in my opinion. If both are correct, I see no harm in this alias direction, especially when the request for it is already open.

Yeah switch them around
I removed [APPROVED] from the title since the alias was rejected a few seconds after it was approved, although all posts are in floatation_device now.
