In comments on a recent upload the question came up about a so far hypothetical "Flying Tigers" (as in the American fighter unit flying in China during WW2) tag.

Briefly, would it qualify as a character tag, a copyright one, or just a general tag?

It seems to me that copyright would be the best fit, even if it's not one

Sounds like copyright to me. Lots of copyright tags like "Christmas" for example aren't literal copyrights.
