Is it okay for a post to be tagged with imminent sex when it's also rated safe? If there's nothing suggestive in the image, then is there really anything that suggests imminent sex? Conversely, if the characters seem like they're gearing up for sex, is that really safe?

DText does not work on titles, so -> imminent_sex rating:s

I skimmed the first page of results and didn't see anything that shouldn't be tagged "Questionable" in my opinion.

Yeah, no, if it's obvious enough they're preparing to bang that the tag applies, it shouldn't ever be rated safe. Why, have you found an image that has the tag, but is rated safe?

imminent_sex rating:s shows more than a page's worth (hence the title).

There's a few that don't seem suggestive to me (post #1039171, post #445470), but in those cases I'd remove the imminent_sex tag entirely.

I'd argue they're either mis-tagged or mis-rated. If sex is always explicit, then imminent_sex could sometimes be considered a Safe meeting sex down the middle, splitting the difference in ratings. Hence, it should be rated Questionable or shouldn't be tagged imminent_sex.

Those shouldn't have the imminent_sex tag because there's no TWYS suggestiveness that way. The tag would be more lore because the first could be of a couple whose relationship is on the skids and the second of a big character showing asexual affection to a smaller friend. There is no obvious preparation for sex.

Cleared out a few of the especially egregious examples, but I wouldn't mind hearing from other people before going all in.

Also, comments back in the day were wild.

Those look more like somebody only tagged them to say "They should bang!" and not because it's actually suggesting it's going to happen.
