As the title states, I wish to know what the policy is for artists with artist tags who only provide the music in animations. Should the tagging of artists only apply to ones who've done the animation, or should the musicians also be tagged as well?
I bring this up because in post #2396234, post #2309814, and post #2151112, Pobaro's tag has been removed numerous times by a user despite the fact that he has provided the music for each animation.

I should note that I'm not talking about musicians or bands with a copyright tag, such as the_beatles or the gorillaz, but specifically about musicians who have their own artist tag on this site.

I am not entirely sure about how the whole policy about tagging song artists, but if I had to guess, I think it would be a similar situation as for when a 3d model made by someone else is used in an animation, or an original character design (protogens, pokemons, worgens, etc), you don't tag the original artist per say, but rather the source material. However, I believe it would be nice if people tagged the song/music itself, it would make it a lot easier to find certain content where said audio is used.
