So, I uploaded an image and created a new artist tag to go with it, because the artist wasn't listed on site from what I could tell. However, I found that the artist already has art onsite posted, but under a different name, in what I believe is Japanese. I tried to change the name to the English Twitter name, but because I created a different artist tag already with the name, it won't let me update the Japanese name. The two names for the artist are, げきしろ(The original Japanese name) and
Gekishiro1(The English Twitter Name).

If someone could help me out with a way to fix this, I'd appreciate it, thank you!

In this case, you just need to request an alias げきしろ -> gekishiro1

(Off Topic) BTW have you played PA yet?

I fixed it for this specific post, but since E621 generally prefers english names for artists, it would probably be a good idea to create an alias from げきしろ to gekishiro1.
