The tag implication #34196 pirate_tawna -> tawna_bandicoot has been rejected.

Reason: The former's an alt-universe version of Tawna Bandicoot from the new upcoming Crash game. It might be easier to manage the new flood of images of her if users could just tag them "pirate_tawna"

is this like a classic_sonic sorta situation where it's the same character but from a split-timeline or something? also, is "Pirate Tawna" a cannon title, or something that the fans made up?

"classic_sonic" situation, and as of now there's no canon title. If one comes up we could always alias it to that; for the time being this is just to organize/identify that character as a separate entity from the other Tawna.
