Like, just as a random example, suppose I wanted to search for images involving the "chest_wraps" tag, but I didn't want it to include images of solo males...however I was fine with it including images that have one or more males, as long there are also other people in there. Could I add something like -[male solo] to only exclude images where the male is by himself?

only thing I can think to make this work is temp blacklisting the exclusion type so that when you search your specific type it works out

Yeah, you can blacklist chest_wraps male -female -intersex and it will block out images of only males in chest wraps. If you're okay with two males but no females or intersex characters at all (your wording makes it sound like you're only okay with it if there's a character of another gender), chest_wraps male solo.
