Topic: tagging disputes for a post

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

(obligatory "no fucking clue how to format/make posts/embed links, excuse that.)

Post in question is: https://e621.net/posts/2203078

I look at it and I see TWYS, no penis/balls, no breasts, has vagina = cuntboy/andromorph. But the andromorph tag got removed and female slapped on it. The andromorph tag was removed for 'redundancy'. Guess what I'm asking or posting about is which of us is right in this image tagging? does it get tagged as female, but andromorph lore tag stays? female but no lore tag, andromorph but no lore tag? andromorph with lore tag?

I don't mean to start or get into tagging wars, but I take the TWYS wiki pretty literally; no peen, no balls, no breasts, yes vagoo = cboy/andro. no peen, no balls, breast outline/shade/underboob/sideboob/hintofboob/etc, yes vagoo = female, etc.

Redundancy means that the lore tag, andromorph_(lore), was already tagged. An individual character should not receive both the TWYS and lore tag since, well, it's redundant.

Also, female doesn't need breasts to be present in order to be tagged, ambiguous figure + pussy or feminine figure can also be tagged female. There's a gender chart that you can resort to, for more information.

Truth is, tagging rules assume that penises belong to males and pussies belong to females, until otherwise displayed. Thus, cboys, unless overly masculine, are females, and a disembodied penis can never belong to a dickgirl.

Truth is, any character with a flat chest and a vagina is a dude, as per admin decree. https://e621.net/comments/2838837

then why did you change the tags on the post I linked, to female, with the edit reason being "TWYS (character is very clearly female)" if flat chest and vagina is admin decree'd as a cboy?

Also, where and when does the lore tags fit into place? if kayla (the fox character in the aforementioned link) is to be tagged as a female, then does HE get the andromorph lore tag, since the character owner identifies him as a cuntboy? Or does the lore tag only ever work on just a couple pictures, and only enough to establish a baseline? or is it just arbitrary?

Basically, lore tags apply if TWYS gets it wrong. If a character is actually a cboy/andromorph, but looks and is tagged female by TWYS, then andromorph_(lore) should be tagged. If that character looks and is tagged andromorph for TWYS, then there's no need to also tag andromorph_(lore).
