Aliasing mind_control → hypnosis

Reason:

There are three tags for the same thing all randomly used. It makes it annoying to search for hypnosis because I have to search for; hypnosis, mind_control, and brainwashing. All three of these tags should be aliased to simply 'hypnosis'. Hypnosis is probably the most well known of the three so picking that as the main tag.

Also, do I need to make a separate suggestion for brainwashing to hypnosis as well?

-1, just because the tags are inconvenient to you doesn't mean they should be aliased away. Furthermore, neither brainwashing nor mind control are always through hypnosis, in cases where it's not your suggestion would force the correct tag to be incorrect.

Then mind_control would be the act of controlling someone and brainwashing would be, in-progress, making them able to be controlled.

If for example parasite takes control of someone's actions, it's mind control but not hypnosis in any way or form. Basically hypnosis is mind control, but not all mind control is hypnosis.

Just because significant portion of mind control content on this site is hypnosis, we should not tag hypnosis on every single possible type of mind control.

You all make fair points! I think that would be a good 'compromise'. I didn't suggest this just for 'personal convenience' but because I honestly viewed them as pretty much interchangeable and the use of three tags as redundant, though irrespective it does seem like there should be some over-arching tag for all three. Since 'mind_control' is already implicated for hypnosis, implicating it for brainwashing seems like a viable option. Should I make a new thread/suggestion for that?
