Topic: On the tagging of offscreen_character character

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

If a character is partially offscreen, to the point of not being uniquely recognizable, but I, as the artist, drew it with a specific character in mind, should it be tagged as that character? If not, when is the cut-off point where it's recognizable enough?

The first image I'm wondering about is this one where from the dialog and body type I thought it was fairly clear it was Mario. Should I use the "mario" tag, or does it need to have like, his moustache on-screen for it to qualify?

The second image is a bit less clear. I intended for the dick to belong to Ultra Greed, but aside from the skin colour and the size, it's pretty ambiguous.

I did check out the offscreen_character tag, but couldn't really get a conclusive answer from it. I'd like to know what the "intended" way of tagging is. Thanks!

You can use external knowledge for taggin character names as long as there is at least something visual information that can be linked to the character (for example coloration is enough)
