There's not even a character or species named Tem, they're a species named Temmie, with one named Bob. Our own wiki here even says Tem is just short for Temmie.

No not really. Temmie has had like 2 lines total since undertale. I prefer temmie_(undertale) because it's longer and that's the name used when she is checked in battle, but there isn't a cannon name over the other.
