Any reason it shouldn't be aliased instead?

well, my first thought is that there are other types of school uniform other than the serafuku.

this is a serafuku:

This is a uniform, but not a serafuku:

And, for the sake of argument, these are serafuku, but not school uniforms, BUT... I don't think an few scattered exceptions should prevent the implication:

Fun random facts!

  • fuku means 'clothing'
  • Serafuku is short for 'sailor fuku' or 'sailor clothing'
  • Seifuku means 'school uniform'

So serafuku is kind of a fun pun :)

(also, serafuku needs to be tagged more often-- but maybe it should be given a better name? Sailor_school_uniform? sailor_style_school_uniform?)

Bumping this. I'd be willing to go through the school and sailor uniform tags and properly tag things with Serafuku.

Associated Implications

Associated Aliases

While an alias would be reasonable, I think it should be avoided, as the serafuku is distinct from other school uniforms on top of being a sailor uniform.
