+1. Apparently both suggestions are appropriate.

I think that would be better to keep "weight_machine" unimplicated. It is used with the same basic purpose as the other weightlifting devices, however it is considerabily different from them in apearence.

Question: should we create a tag for aleatory heavy objects used as weights (e.g. boulders, anchors, sofas etc).

Although it is still technically weightlifting and should be tagged as such, a tag like improvised_weights could work for situations like this.

For context, aleatory basically means random; so yes, those are what O16 meant.

Yes, and the interesting part is that (differently from weights) improvised_weights could imply weightlifting since the "device" in question would need to be in use to be identifieable as so.

Do you preffer to anunciate it on forum #221557 by yourself, or should I do it (not intended to sound hasty)?

Improvised weights is great. I was thinking the same. Aleatory, not as much, both because someone was complaining about copious the other day, which is a way way more common word, and also because aleatory is more random in the dice or spinner sense, as opposed to resourceful use of surroundings.

+1 for suggestion of implying barbell -> weights.

Currently dumbbell implies to weights. So think barbell (equipment similar to dumbbell) should also imply to weights.
