Beat me to it, haha. I was about to suggest this. +1!

Implying vore might not be the greatest idea though.

Probably not a good idea. Lots of pictures have predator/prey tags, but there's no actual or implied vore going on. It seems the tags are used when at least two suggestively interacting characters are based on animals that are predator and prey in real life and not necessarily when anyone is going to get or is being eaten.

Except that *_pred/*_prey tags are used for vore only. The tag you're thinking of is predator/prey.

Is an image featuring predation in a realistic and non-sexual context actually vorarephilia? I don't think anyone, say, blacklisting vore is trying to sidestep those kinds of images

I mean, yeah, it certainly can be. Lots of people are into realistic vore.

That being said, I was uncertain about the vore implication so it doesn't matter. I only suggested it since the wiki pages are specific about these things being in a vore context.

Isn't that extremely confusing?

It's just how it came to be, really. Predator/prey has been a tag for a long time, but the *_pred/*_prey tags only started being used recently, and solely on vore images.
