Aliasing swine → pig
Link to alias

Reason:

Swine is another term for the domestic pig, ergo this suggestion.

However, i'm a bit torn on aliasing this to pig, cause it might be better if maybe we aliased it to porcine considering porcine species in general (such as boars and warthogs) often just get mistagged as swine.

Thoughts?

If I am not wrong, 'swine' is actually a synonym of 'porcine'.

*search*

Yes, they mean the same, however 'porcine' appears to be the "less official" term, since it merely derives from the latin word porcus (pig) and 'swine' derives from the family suidae.

Note: 'porcine' also is a uncommon adjective that means "resembling a pig, pig-like".

So... -1. Would be better to get 'porcine' and 'swine' aliased, in which order I don't know.

Bumping this; however as O16 stated, I think an alias of swineporcine rather than to pig would be better, similar to the alias of hog.

Nice!

Your thoughts on the swine tag? Is it agreed that it should be aliased to porcine? Or were you thinking against that?

I agree, hence my later change with the bump. Thanks!
