Agreed. It seems really redundant and not very useful as a tag.

Yeah, I'm not so sure about keeping this tag and I'm behind most of the currently tagged posts with sfw_nudity. I was going through and removing erroneous *_nudity tags in the Tags section, but I found sfw_nudity couldn't be removed due to it having a deleted image with the tag. Since it already had a wiki written for it, I figured I'd add it to applicable posts I came across and see how folks felt about the tag.

However I'm not so sure about keeping it because of the redundancy y'all mentioned, and I'm leaning more in favor of getting rid of the sfw_nudity tag entirely.
