Reason:

There are a number of things this refers to:

• psychic pokémon (which is apparently a tag, and is one of many underpopulated Pokémon-type-related tags)
• A person who claims to have ESP.
• Psychic powers being shown used in an image/animation.
• The Pokémon move literally named Psychic, which could really be lumped under this point, too.

EDIT: The tag alias psychic -> psychic_(disambiguation) (forum #282620) has been rejected by @Rainbow_Dash.

Not entirely sure. There's one for a lot of other types, too. I'm not really sure how useful such tags would be.

Because anyone can make new tags. Doesn't mean that they're valid.

Imagine having a species with over 1000 sub-species in it, and no way to group those 1000 species into smaller tag groups. Dividing those 1000+ species into 18 sub species groups would be very useful.
