Topic: Furry stream!

Posted under Off Topic

Hello. I am a diamond league of legends player, a competitive smash bros player, a competitive counter strike global offensive player, and also a furry. I'm posting a link to my stream for anyone who would either want to watch, or even wants to play! I love to meet new people and talk with them :)

twitch.tv/sumatchi is the stream. I'm usually on around 6 pm mountain time if anyone wants to join me for games :)

Also, add sumatchi on league!

Not really the place for advertisements.

I don't think that's advertising. I mean, the dude wants to meet people. I'd do it too but I don't game that much...

Anyway... hello, sumatchi!

hello Xch3l :) Yea i didn't want to post this and for it to come off as an advertisement. I wanted it to come off as a supportive person in your community that wants to meet people to play with. Most league players like to know how good the person they want to play with is though :3

I'd believe all that if it wasn't for the fact that you're using twitch.tv for your streaming, which pays you per view for ad revenue.
This is clearly an attempt to gain views, which is for monetary profit of the OP.

If you just want to meet someone to play with, you can do that without posting the link that makes you money.

um
you know twitch only pays you for viewers if you're above like 1k viewers every time you log on right? I'm lucky if i can manage 10 at a time. I do not have a "subscribe 4.99$" button on my stream. you can check it yourself. anyone can chat for free. please do not make assumptions like such.

Yes this is the internet. No not everyone uses the community they love to exploit cash. if you rather not watch on twitch there is a lolking link as well

sorry i didn't know how alive this forum was. on the league forum it gets pushed down after like 10 mins o,o. sorry. I will refrain to like once a day now

Thread bumping is frowned upon in general here.

If you aren't adding to the conversation/information in a thread then it's considered spamming which is against the rules.

apologies again. This is my first browsing/thread on the forum ever.

Heyo! Yeah... the forum isn't a very active part of the site... :/

Also, you could write that info on your user profile. As for me, I don't have those games... well, I do have Smash Bros. but for the 64 (I still own the cartridge! :) )

You don't need to actually read this small rant

Now, here's a tiny bit of the rules I don't agree with... or more like I don't understand completely: what is considered sharing information and what is spamming? As fas as I know, posting the same message repeatedly is spamming. I mean, we're no robots and there's always the need of communication, and so far the blips have filled that space...

Erm... sorry, dude! For using your thread for this! n_n;

If people bump a thread for a reason (continuing discussion about a tag issue, adding to a dead question thread, etc.) I don't think anyone would care. The same way people usually don't care if threads get derailed, so long as there's a good reason to derail it.

But I personally don't want some dude plugging his Youtube/Twitch/Steam/FA/F-list/Facebook/Youporn/Facebook account and then keeping it on the front page. This is a pretty spammy thread.

This, basically.
If you're adding information, or bumping for a productive reason it's not spam.

Simply bumping a thread for the sake of bumping it isn't constructive, so it's spam.

The part of the no spamming rule that can apply is this:

Making non-constructive or derailing posts or comments.

So as long as there is a constructive reason for posting, it's not violating that.

Well, he did it once. I see no spamming there...

Thanks, I've read the rules too. This thread has no actual objective other than informing, so the while bumping wasn't constructive it still added to the information...

Y'know? I'll stop there since I don't want to derail a thread about a gaming stream with discuccion about the rules and their definitions

So... anyone want to play league? or smash on netplay?

I don't have League of Legends and I'm not that good at playing smash. You can see the games I have on my steam

I mostly play Skullgirls and stopped playing TF2 since a lot, my brother used to play it more often than me on my account. Luckily, he now has his own account.
