Topic: Tag Alias: ginger -> invaild_tag

Aliasing ginger → invalid_tag
Link to alias

Reason:

So, I've noticed this tag get thrown around the pen, but not once have I found where it would be used in consideration with the root vegetable. Nor being used as a name. No, for people seem to be talking about red hair! So why keep a tag when it means the same as another?

EDIT: The tag alias ginger -> invaild_tag_or_red_hair (forum #264286) has been rejected by @Rainbow_Dash.

Shouldn't it be aliased to red_hair, then? Or disambiguated, if there are also characters (I know none).

I originally had this listed as ginger or red_hair but alas the title doesn't fair to well with that

Ok... when making an alias or implication request, only request one tag per submission. Then, you edit in any other following tags. An example would be an alias request "ginger -> red_hair", and then after posting you could edit in "or to invalid tag" underneath the original request.

The reason this is important is because you quite literally requested an alias from the tag ginger to the tag invalid_tag_or_red_hair. To avoid these, it is suggested to just edit in any further alias/implications after submitting the first. This is a pretty common mistake, I kinda wish our implication/alias assistance text would cover this.

Thanks for the advise
