(above line being new alias link style)

Oppose.
Since https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoulder_bag says
"Shoulder bag may refer to:
Handbag, a bag typically used by women to hold personal items ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handbag )
Messenger bag, a bag worn over one shoulder with a strap that winds around the chest (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messenger_bag )
A single strap satchel" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satchel )

Suggest shoulder_bag alias to shoulder_bag_(disambiguation)

(because alternative that comes to my mind is clunky:
alternative is implying both handbag and messenger_bag TO houlder_bag .
satchel (in my opinion) would NOT imply to shoulder_bag because some satchels worn backpack-style (example: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Schulranzen-aus-leder-und-felltornister.jpg at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satchel )

I think I'd prefer messenger_bag mailbag and handbag each to implicate shoulder_bag

On the subject, maybe we should consider aliasing handbag and purse. Looking it up a purse is meant to be smaller than a handbag, but in tagged images they seem about the same.

I wouldn't consider a handbag to be a shoulder bag. A handbag is a small bag designed to be held with your hand. A shoulder bag is a bag with a strap designed to rest on your shoulder. A handbag can have a shoulder strap, making it both a handbag and shoulder bag, but a handbag isn't always a type of shoulder bag.
