I agree that this should be aliased, but maybe it should be disambiguated instead, since I do believe 'Kneesocks' is the name of a character.

Why can't people give normal names to characters?! I swear eventually somebody's gonna make a female oc called 'penis' and it's gonna be the biggest tagging project EVER.

You mean knee_socks_(disambiguation)? It becomes disambiguated when you fix the tag, it would be currently under disambiguation.

Leaving it as knee_socks is fine. We don't need a disambiguation for every single ambiguous tag. People tagging the character can reasonably be expected to know that they have to do kneesocks_(artist_name).
