Implicating goku → dragon_ball
Link to implication

Reason:

Goku is the main character of the entire series... shockingly he was lacking an implication to the series itself

Frieza's race is also sometimes called Frost Demons. I dunno, it just sounds better than Frieza race :V

F..frost demons. omg.

I object to frost_demon as a tag--it'll be full of Frieza and Frieza-accessorie.. and stuff like these:

I would say, for clarity either Frost_demon_(Dragon_ball) or frieza's_species

Plus--a race is basically .... nothing. It's cultural and social more than biological (there are diverging genetic traits, but they are different than different species or subspecies.) Race is not taxonomically significant.

To get all furry about this, it's like having a race of foxes in America--the ones along the east coast tend to stand a bit taller and have fluffier winter coats. The ones in the southwest have thinner coats and more tan colored fur and larger ears, but they're all still red foxes. They just have different dominant traits wrapped up in the game genetics.

Why, yes... I am triggered whenever a video game asks me to pick a race, because Elf is not a human race. Elf is a species.

So, plz, can we be taxonomically correct here and keep the word "race" out of this?

On that note, will I get in trouble if I quietly change emoji_(race) to emoji_(species) and cubi_(race) to cubi_(species)?
;) mostly kidding, but not.

People shouldn't be tagging the element of demon, just something like ice demon, two seperate tags.

Well, the problem with that is that you'll get every demon-in-snow-or-whatever. I don't personally object to ice_demon as a tag--especially as an ice_demon is different than an ice_elemental. (and, if you look at, say, snow demon you get a lot of things that are demons in snow, but certainly not with any sort of indicator that they are somehow specifically cold-themed demons.) (I"m not saying we SHOULD be tagging ice_demon or whatever, just that I don't object to it on principal)

I object to a *specific* species of aliens being called "frost demon" without any indicator to point out that they're directly connected to a franchise. It invites mistagging.

You thought I was making it up? :V

Nope, but I still morally and intellectually object to it. XD

Besides, "Frieza Race" comes an interview with a Japanese comic artist, for a magazine, translated by godknowswho, into English.

Frieza Race is not good English. I can only assume that there was a failure there. :P

Actually, y'know what's REALLY funny?

The wiki uses "Interview with Akira Toriyama - Saikyō Jump #3, 2014" as a source for calling it "Frieza Race"

here's the actual relevant bit in said interview:

Q: About how many of Freeza’s race are there? Are they quite thriving, with a big population?

A: Freeza is what you might call a mutated life-form. Strictly speaking, Freeza’s father is a mutant with an abnormally high battle power. And, born from his father alone, still in strong possession of the mutant traits, was Freeza.
Accordingly, even saying “Freeza’s race”, these two are the only ones who possess an abnormal [level of] battle power and cruelty.

To me? that sounds a lot like he's saying "Freeza's a mutant. He's not really an indicator of what his species is like."
