Hey guys! So I'll keep this short and sweet. I'm attempting to tag my image library but I've realized that without thousands of people it's simply not feasible for me to tag EVERYTHING in an image.

I'm trying to think of about 10 tags that can be used to accurately define an image.

Assuming you know nothing about the art aside from what you saw, what would your top 10 essential tags be to find an image?

But, from this list, here are some general tags you should take in mind when tagging:

• artist
• copyright
• character
• species
• body type
• genitals
• how many are in the image
• sexual acts (if any)
• position
• what they're doing

I'd also add types of fetishes present to the list DiceLovesBeingBlown gave.

If it's for your own personal image library, then the tags you use should be specialized for your brain. The list above is good for generic queries like "show me all the solo male pictures." But also consider the case where there's a specific image you have in mind that you're trying to find. Try to think of the one or two distinct features of each image that are most interesting and memorable to you. How are you most likely to remember the image a year from now?

The year that the image was published.

gender and gender relations such as male, female, intersex, male/female, male/male, ambiguous_gender

animated for animations because you can have non-animated GIFs

the types of fetishes YOU care about since this is your personal image library we are talking about

In order i'd say that the most important tag types would be:

Essential (common blacklist items)

• fetishes gore/scat etc. (if any)
• gender
• genitals
• sexual acts (if any)
• character/copywrite
• artist

Important (searchables)

• species
• body features (fur color, hair color, wings, etc.)
• background
• props
