An alias means "when someone tags A, replace with B."
An implication means "when someone tags A, also tag B"

So.. if someone tags "Azure_fur"... that's too specific. Replace it with Blue_fur. <-- that's an alias
but when someone tags "wolf," we want it to also tag 'canine' <-- that's an implication.

A tag being aliased means we generally regard it to be pointless or redundant.

"badly animated" is a subjected and poor tag. No one will search it, only blacklist it or place it on an image to say that they think it's bad. And you get big fights over "this animation is great" "no, it's awful!" ... pointless.

If someone's trying to tag badly animated, then we know it's animated. Good enough.

A bit pointless to implicate something when the tag is already aliased away.

Thanks for the responses, and I see that it doesn't make much sense to imply it now.
