EDIT: The tag alias restrained -> bound (forum #248857) has been rejected by @bitWolfy.

bound describes objects in use intended to limit a character's movement by any degree.

restrained describes greater immobilization where "characters are mostly unable to move" from objects or another creature, including tentacles.

Yeah, minus one from me.
A character can be restrained by hands, tentacles, weird positions, contraptions etc.

overlap partially but they are not same thing.
character with hands stuck under massive rock slab is restrained but not bound.
