? I don't even know what the tags mean O_O

I figured they were artist names so I didn't bother looking, but no, these are species tags. HUh.

andrewsarchus is a long dead mammal of some sort. ANd I guess... whippomorpha is a clade of ... critters that eventually includes whales dolphins and hippos, but also includes Andrewsarchus.

{{stem-whippomorph -andrewsarchus}] as 3 results...

I... dunno how I feel about this.

on one hand, that is exceptionally specific, yet also inspecific...

On the other hand, having a tag for a type of ancient critter might not be a bad idea.

Kinda like how I might say that a tag fork,, say. sarupod might not be a bad idea...?

though I think the stem- part of the name may be incorrect?

wikipedia says:

Cetancodontamorpha:
Cetancodontamorpha is a total clade of artiodactyls[1] defined, according to Spaulding et al., as Whippomorpha "plus all extinct taxa more closely related to extant members of Whippomorpha than to any other living species".[2] Attempts have been made to rename the clade Whippomorpha to Cetancodonta, but the former maintains precedent.[3]

Whippomorpha is the crown clade containing Cetacea (whales, dolphins, etc.) and hippopotamuses.[4] According to Spaulding et al., members of the whippomorph stem group (i.e., "stem-whippomorphs") include such taxa as the family Entelodontidae and the genus Andrewsarchus.

Well then, +1 I guess?

Yeah but:

1) Is a tag for a clad/group like that appropriate?
2) is it stem-whippomorph, whippomorph, cetancodontamorpha or something else?

You lost me at cetanocodanoc... Meh.

Even if this gets denied, it wouldn't hurt for at least andrewsarchus to have a mammal implication at the very least.

Personally, I'd suggest a Cetancodont implication, and then for that to be implied mammal.
